Nairobi, Kenya – We were honored to host officials of the Kenyan and UK governments in one of the distribution hubs in Nairobi. The delegation included Cabinet Secretary for ICT and Innovation, Joe Mucheru, former immediate health minister and UK MP, Matt Hancock, and Kenyan Ambassador to the UK, Manoah Esipisu.
We discussed many areas of cooperation and shared the success story of the outstanding support we have received from both governments, including access to government datasets through the Whitebox program, access to capital, and technical support.
Keep IT Cool has received over USD 500,000 in investment commitment from public institutions led by the UK government(FCDO), African Development Bank (AfDB), and the Kenyan government to develop decentralized cold chains for underserved value chains in Kenya.
